Posted by on Wed, Aug 28, 2013 at 9:59 PM

Home games against Tennessee, archrivals Duke and N.C. State, and Maryland’s final visit to Carmichael Arena as an ACC member highlight the 2013-14 UNC women’s basketball schedule released today.

The schedule opens at home Nov. 8 against Air Force. The Tar Heels will host Nebraska in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, while new members Pittsburgh and Syracuse as well as Clemson, Miami and Virginia Tech will visit for conference games.

The other non-conference home games are against Coastal Carolina, Coppin State, Charleston Southern and High Point.

Both Duke games will be broadcast nationally. The first is in Durham as part of ESPN2's BIG MONDAY telecast on Feb. 10 at 7 p.m., with the other their regular-season finale at Carmichael on March 2 on ESPN at 1 p.m.

State will visit Chapel Hill on Jan. 9 at 6 p.m., while UNC will travel to Reynolds Coliseum on Sunday, Feb. 16 for an ESPN2 broadcast as part of the Play 4 Kay week.

Carson-Newman — coach Sylvia Hatchell’s alma mater — and Wingate will come to Chapel Hill for exhibition games on Oct. 30 and Nov. 5, respectively.
