Just 12 days after arthroscopic knee surgery, Jessica Breland came off the bench and helped No. 15 UNC get a huge road win.

The senior forward led four players in double figures as the Tar Heels avenged two years of losses to No. 19 Florida State with an 84-75 victory in their only meeting of this regular season.

Waltiea Rolle added 18 points including 12-for-12 from the free-throw line.

Cetera DeGraffenreid added 14 points and Tierra Ruffin-Pratt 11 for UNC (20-3, 6-2 ACC).

FSU (18-5, 6-2) got 15 points apiece from freshmen Natasha Howard and Chelsea Davis, while Cierra Bravard and Courtney Ward chipped in 11 each.

The Tar Heels’ next game is at home on Monday night against defending ACC champion Duke.
