Jasmine Thomas again leads Duke in easy win at FSU

Duke got through another tough women’s basketball challenge on the road, as Jasmine Thomas’ 22 points led the No. 3 Blue Devils’ 87-70 romp at No. 21 Florida State.

Thomas had game highs in rebounds (nine), assists (eight) and steals (three).

Freshmen Haley Peters and Tricia Liston added 15 points each for the Blue Devils (16-0, 2-0 ACC), who got 13 points from their classmate Chelsea Gray.

Courtney Ward led FSU (14-4, 2-1) with a game-high 25 points while Alexa DeLuzio chipped in 17, Natasha Howard 14 and Cierra Bravard 12.

Duke’s next game is on Sunday at Virginia Tech.
