Wolfpack goes West looking to climb above .500

N.C. State should have a good chance to improve on its 5-6 record over the next couple of days, when the Wolfpack plays in the Beach Classic in Long Beach, Calif.

NCSU will take on Florida A&M (3-4) on Monday night at 8 p.m. (EST), then meet host Long Beach State (2-10) on Tuesday night at 8.

The Wolfpack won its only previous meeting with the Rattlers seven seasons ago. The Rattlers lost 72-62 at Long Beach State on Sunday.

Following Tuesday’s contest, the Wolfpack’s next game will be at home against Fairfield on Dec. 28 at 1 p.m.
