Posted by on Tue, Dec 7, 2010 at 11:00 PM

UNC puts its new No. 12 ranking and unbeaten record on the line Wednesday night at Carmichael Arena, and after the Tar Heels’ impressive win over Iowa they’ll once again be heavy favorites against East Tennessee State.

The Tar Heels, who beat the visiting Buccaneers 104-65 last season, lead the series 11-0 including a 9-0 mark in Chapel Hill.

ETSU finished 23-9 last season and won the Atlantic Sun title, but lost its top two scorers to graduation.

UNC senior point guard Cetera DeGraffenreid is No. 2 nationally in assist/turnover ratio (+7.43).

Following Wednesday’s contest the Tar Heels will finish their three-game homestand with a 2 p.m. Sunday contest against Nevada-Las Vegas.
