The Tar Heels have won all 13 previous meetings.

Both teams are 2-0.

Italee Lucas has gotten off to a hot start, leading the Tar Heels with 18.5 points per game. Sophomore Tierra Ruffin-Pratt is averaging 11.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists per outing, while forward Jessica Breland’s recovery after sitting out last season with Hodgkin’s lymphoma seems to be coming along well.

The Tar Heels will conclude their homestand on Sunday against Western Carolina.
