McCallie returns to Auburn as Duke coach tonight

Duke is playing its first road game of the women’s basketball season tonight, and Coach Joanne P. McCallie will be on familiar ground.

The loaded Blue Devils (2-0), boasting the nation’s best freshman class, will visit Auburn (1-1) where McCallie is a former assistant coach. Also, Duke assistant Samantha Williams played for the Tigers.

Duke leads the all-time series 3-0.

Auburn (1-1) is coming off a six-point home-court loss to Florida State on Monday night.

Blue Devil junior guard Shay Selby is expected to see her first action of the season after missing the first two games with a groin strain.
