Posted by on Sat, Nov 13, 2010 at 1:23 AM

No. 6 Duke will begin defense of its ACC women’s basketball championship and put the nation’s No. 1 recruiting class on display tonight at 7, when the Blue Devils take on Brigham Young at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

BYU finished 23-10 last season. The two teams have met only once, with Duke taking an 80-60 home-court victory in 1987.

Preseason All-ACC guard Jasmine Thomas, wing guard Karima Christmas and center Krystal Thomas are Duke’s seniors.
