Coach Joanne P. McCallie’s club, ranked as high as No. 6 nationally in preseason publications, will try to defend its ACC title after a 30-6 mark in 2009-10.

The Blue Devils return three starters in Jasmine Thomas, Karima Christmas and Krystal Thomas, and its freshman class Chelsea Gray, Richa Jackson, Haley Peters, Tricia Liston and Chloe Wells has been ranked No. 1 nationally by HoopGurlz.

Duke will host exhibition games against Wingate on Nov. 3 and Carson-Newman Nov. 7 before its regular-season opener on Nov. 13 at home against Brigham Young.
