Matt Joyce, Alvin Colina and Chris Richard all homered in the Durham Bulls’ seven-run seventh inning in an 11-3 romp at Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Thursday night.

And it was a good night overall for the Triangle’s minor-league clubs, as the Carolina Mudcats used one big inning to top Jacksonville 3-1.

Both teams won for the second straight night.

Durham begins a four-game series at Syracuse on Friday night, while the Mudcats will play the final game of their five-game set against the Suns.

Colina went 4-for-5 with three RBI to lead the Bulls’ 19-hit attack.

Richard also doubled and singled for three RBI, while Joyce added a single and finished with five RBI. J.J. Furmaniak added three hits for Durham, which won five of eight in the completed season series.

Carlos Hernandez (4-3) was the winning pitcher, while Tim Redding (0-1) took the loss.

Reid Gorecki tripled and singled with an RBI for the Yankees.
