Need Shelter? Here’s Where You Can Go in the Triangle.

There are more than a dozen emergency shelters open in North Carolina for those evacuating from Hurricane Florence, and more opening today. Here are the seven shelters in the Triangle.

Durham County

Bahama Ruritan prestorm shelter

Opened noon Wednesday

Hillside High School (pet-friendly)

Opens 6:00 p.m. Wednesday

Orange County

Smith Middle School

Opens 6:00 p.m. Wednesday

C.W. Stanford Middle School
308 Orange High School Road, Hillsborough 27278
Opens 6:00 p.m. Wednesday

Wake County

Knightdale High School
100 Bryan Chalk Lane, Knightdale 27545
Opened 2:00 p.m. Tuesday

Southeast Raleigh High School
2600 Rock Quarry Road, Raleigh 27610
Opened at 8:00 a.m. Wednesday

Garner High School
2101 Spring Drive Garner 27529
Opened at 8:00 a.m. Wednesday
