More on Jordan Lake's movable watershed boundary

Posted by on Fri, Dec 5, 2008 at 4:17 PM

After the Indy story on Jordan Lake went to press, we obtained a letter that developer Neal Hunter wrote to the N.C. Division of Water Quality, questioning the agency's authority to review local government's changes to the protected watershed areas surrounding lakes and streams. The letter, dated Nov. 26, comes just two days after the Durham County Board of Commissioners rejected an independent survey of Jordan Lake. Read the full update, and Hunter's letter, at the bottom of the original post.
