Wye Oak Has a New Record Out in April—Listen to the Title Track Now

Wye Oak may not quite be a local band, as it originated in Baltimore, and one of its two members, drummer Andy Stack, lives in west Texas. But the band's other half, Jenn Wasner is a somewhat recent Durham dweller, so we're counting it.

Earlier this week, the pair announced a new record, The Louder I Call, the Faster It Runs, and shared the album's restless, excellent title track.

The record is out on April 6, and if you like what you hear so far, you can preorder it via Merge. If you're really into planning ahead, you can buy tickets for the band's May 10 show at Cat's Cradle starting tomorrow.
