Video: Watch Mipso Pay Tribute to David Bowie in Raleigh

Continuing 2015's victory lap, Mipso returned to a Triangle stage for a sold-out show at the pristine Fletcher Opera Theater to close January. The group was relaxed, working through a set list that included many songs from the new Old Time Reverie as well as a handful of covers. The group kicked off the second set around a single microphone; really, the acoustics suggested they needed no amplification at all.

Mipso's cover of "Modern Love" served as a poignant tribute to David Bowie, and their rousing, closing take on the traditional, "Water Bound." received a standing ovation.
