Mere weeks before 2013 came to a close, Concord’s The Avett Brothers announced that the band would be performing a New Year’s Eve show at PNC Arena … in 2014. In keeping with its apparent affection for planning ahead, the band has now announced that tickets for NYE 2014 will be available through a presale starting tomorrow and a public onsale starting Friday at 10 a.m.

The band’s NYE shows have a reputation for being among their best; previous host cities include Greensboro, Asheville and, of course, Charlotte. The presale starts at 10 a.m. tomorrow and runs through 10 p.m. on Thursday (it should't take too much Google work to find the passwords), before tickets go live to the public Friday at 10 a.m. No word yet on pricing, but don't expect the gala to go cheap.
