Like most college radio stations, WXDU 88.7 FM holds events to shore up its reserves. For the last four years, they've put together a group of record dealers with a dual mission: getting collectors and fans together over a bevy of that exhilarating black wax and raising some money through some of their own sales. This year promises to be one of the best yet, with tons of records and, well, that other blackened platter in play: the burger.

But don't just take our word for it:

"WXDU will hold its Fourth Annual Record Fair at the Duke Coffeehouse on Duke's East Campus Saturday, Sept. 26, from 11 a.m.- 5 p.m., with a rain date of October 3. Our Record Fair attracts a variety of record dealers from North Carolina and across the Southeast. This year WXDU will be selling a large collection of inexpensive records. All proceeds from the sale of WXDU-owned materials benefit the station. The Coffeehouse and its parking lot will be packed to the gills with records! As always this exciting event is free and open to the public! And now you can shop all day, unfettered by hunger or thirst, for around lunchtime we'll have the fabulous OnlyBurger mobile burger truck on hand with burgers, fries, and soft drinks for sale! They also sell veggie burgers."
