Re: “How Deah Barakat spent his last weekend

What an amazing person Deah was. Its people like him that really give this wold some hope. I feel so terrible that he had to leave the world so soon, but his legacy and his big heart will continue through his family and his friends and people who he inspired. His wife Yusor was also amazing, she helped feed the homeless and also went to Turkey to help the poor in the syrian refugee. She also helped build homes for homeless people as well and much more. Her sister Razan also helped feed the homeless in her City of NC, she helped bring hope to others with her beautiful smile and her selfess heart. These three are recognized around the world for their selflessness. This makes you us think about ourselves, makes us realize, have we done anything to help others? serve the community and the rest of the torn world. These kids are a perfect example for us to change to better people. How many kids do you know at this age, dedicate their time to think about others, and help others? not a lot. Their parents raised them to care for others and love all people, no matter where they come from, colour, beliefs. You Three are truly OUR WINNERS. God bless you and your families.
