Re: “Sweepstakes gambling on the way out in NC?

Im sorry people but let me state the facts for you since i work at a sweepstakes in Wake county. We do not get paid much and the owners get paid an extrordinary unbelievable sum. YES they are blood sucking off of the poor however its very multifaceted. The state of NC does NOTHING to help with the needy so the low income families go an try there luck at these dens of dishonor. Some win but more than a minority looses. The lore of winning big keeps them coming back again and again because its there only hope of getting out of a bleek situation. Its an insane cycle. NC sets up an does nothing to assist the poor and these sweepstakes provides a less than 2% chance to win anything. Time after ttime patrons come to the window put on $20-$100 loose it all in 5-10 minutes come back up put more money on loose again put more an get a visually appealing bonus win half of what they put on back keep playing to hope to get another bonus only to loose it all again. Believe you me only a minute few ever win big and thats AFTER they've put played $1000-$5000 cumulatively.

Frontier games runs the Raleigh Durham gambling racket and another factor to consider is the employees that work at these places are almost always felons that continue to do illegal activities at these gambling houses. Most of the employees will use other customers accounts to play on when they see it may be paying out big which further reduces the chances of the actual account owner ever winning. Just go visit the places off of capital blvd and crabtree its blatant an open. And not to mention if you do win most of these workers will "require" you to donate a "tip" to get you money. I personally hope they do shut these places down. The only people winning from anyone playing these games is the owners and the software companies who design these games. I have much inside info and would love to work with the states attorney general to provide them with an inside look of a MUCH BIGGER PROBLEM that goes on in these places besides gambling....if only the public really knew..
