Re: “Derek Walker remembered

As I read about Mr. Walker and the terrible events that led to his death it is clear that no one is addressing the institution that pushed Mr. Walker to the breaking point. This institution is family court. Through history when the government is so destructive to individual and god gven right the victims who feel powerless end up doing things that take their own lives.

This was true with the American Indian, Slaves, Japanese that were United States citizen during WW II, Jews in Germany prior to being placed in concentration camps. There are many points in history where the government enforced or enacted bad laws that drove people to this desperate act. Family court is the Gun that killed Derek Walker. It a absolute shame that every article that has been published thus far doe not point out that Mr. Walker wanted to be a father to his son. If family court had done their job it would have made it abundantly clear to Ms. Alston that Mr. Walker was the father and a such they will support and enforce his god given right to have a relationship with his child.
Family Courts refusal to acknowledge that fathers are parents drove Mr. Walker to act in a desperate way. Family Court killed Mr. Walker
