Worriers, Pie Face Girls

When: Fri., Aug. 21, 9:30 p.m. 2015
Price: $5
The excellent Brooklyn punk band Worriers aren’t afraid to speak their minds. Song titles like “Yes All Cops,” from their recent Don Giovanni Records LP, Imaginary Life, highlight the band’s biting social commentary. On the scathing “They/Them/Theirs,” singer Lauren Denitzio pointedly asks “What if I don’t want something that applies to me?” (Note: this show has been moved from Nice Price Books to Prisma Video.) —David Ford Smith
