Drama, Romance, SciFi/Fantasy

In this supernatural drama based on Mark Helprin's novel, set in 1916 and in the present, a burglar (Colin Farrell) falls in love with a dying young heiress whose mansion he has attempted to burgle. She dies in his arms, but turns out to have the power of reincarnation, thus sparking some sort of paranormal romance. Will Smith apparently plays the Devil, and the burglar has a white-horse guardian angel named Athansor. If this all sounds like baffling nonsense, congrats—you're sane.
