"Why Judges Matter"

When: Sun., April 6, 3 p.m. 2014
Phyllis Craig Taylor, Dean of the NCCU law school, will be the guest speaker. When we go to the polls, too often we don’t think about the judges. But in the next year or so NC judges will make decisions that effect our most basic rights: voting, birth control, school vouchers, whether to honor existing teacher contracts, fracking and the safety of our drinking water. Join us to hear Dean Taylor, meet candidates, learn more about why judges matter and what we can do to make a difference.
