From the studio that brought you the found-footage horror franchise Paranormal Activity, this filim takes the shaky-cam approach into the teenage sci-fi adventure realm. When a gang of high school misfits discovers blueprints for a time machine, comedy and drama ensue. The film has a welcome sense of humor about itself, referencing classics of the time-travel canon. In an alternate timeline this could have been a smart, lively update to the genre. Instead, it's an OK sci-fi adventure, pitched at teens.

Director: Dean Israelite
