I wonder, what is WCPSS supposed to do? Funding from the state isn't sufficient to maintain current needs and the General
assembly passed this massive, unfounded class size mandate (for which the vaunted "fix" is inadequate).

It is 100% unfair that this leaves the BOC holding the bag, but that's where we are. Either they fund the schools, or they don't and our kids suffer again, some more.

I understand why the incumbents are frustrated, but their anger and suspicion are badly misplaced. Just like the BOC, WCPSS is trying to do its best with the bad hand it's been dealt. The real problem is the NCGA. As a parent, I'm working on getting them to be better, but in the meantime I need the BOC to have our kids' backs.
