Warehouse Eyes, The Pinkerton Raid, Happy Abandon

When: Tue., July 14, 9 p.m. 2015
Price: $5
Warehouse Eyes formed in 2012 as a feathery duo, but they have since filled out to write and perform as a quintet. That move might not suit their aims. The Minneapolis band has a lightweight sound, built from overlapping production layers meant to congeal into ear-snagging hooks. They long for the sexy atmosphere of the xx, but they don’t commit to the restrained minimalism that gives that band’s songs intimacy. The label “dream-pop” is accurate, in that exact details will be hard to remember later. —Jeff Klingman
