Vincent as Dylan, Cash & Garcia

When: Wed., Oct. 31, 8 p.m. 2012
Price: Free

It's not that odd for Halloween shows to feature local acts dressing up and performing as big-name stars. In this curveball, however, one person—local songwriter/ comedian Stephen Vincent—gives his take on three popular music icons: Bob Dylan, Jerry Garcia and Johnny Cash. This is distinct from Vincent's recent performances as Rock Star Stephen Vincent, in which he occupies alternate versions of himself (the crooner, the rapper, the country artist). In that show, and this one, he slips in and out of character efficiently via his homemade portable dressing room. If Vincent is accustomed to inhabiting roles of his own creation, adopting three well-known personalities should be no problem. The 8 p.m. show is free. —Corbie Hill
