Trunkweed, Ameriglow, Barren Graves

When: Wed., March 18, 10 p.m. 2015
Price: $5
Greensboro’s Ameriglow classifies itself as “anti-Americana.” While the loping tempos and rustic twang of A Heavy Heaven for Robby betray the outfit’s Southern roots, the chemically warped lo-fi production and bandleader Jacob Darden’s incisive couplets indeed fight against many of Americana’s tired tropes. —Patrick Wall
