Troilus and Cressida may not be one of Shakespeare's best remembered plays, but the Delta Boys aim to revive it. Co-directed by Jaki Bradley and Lucius Robinson, the play concerns two nations battling it out in the Trojan War. Passion, violence and power struggles all show up, along with a minor episode of eye-removal. The Delta Boys production has no real setting, and costumes have been pulled from here, there and everywhere. They're going minimal by focusing on the story, without the bells and whistles. "Our production values are minimal and our emphasis placed upon trying to make this show meaningful and understandable," Robinson says. The unspeakable acts of war will take place in the picturesque outdoor theater. Performances run through May 23. —Sarah Ewald
