Town Hall Meeting: Threats to NC's Judicial Independence

The League of Women Voters of Orange, Durham, Chatham counties, North Carolina Voters for Clean Elections, Democracy North Carolina, and Progress NC will co-host a free, public Town Hall Meeting to alert voters to legislative and budgetary actions of the North Carolina Legislature that could impact the independence of our courts. The Town Hall Meeting will be held: Thursday December 14, 2017, 7:00-8:30 PM, Chapel Hill Town Hall, 405 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. The panel includes: Representative Marcia Morey (D-Durham); John Wester, an NC litigator and James Drennan, Adjunct Professor at the UNC School of Government.
