Tours and Tunes Historic Home Tour

When: Sat., April 12, 12 p.m. 2014
Email: vice-president@boylanheights.org
Price: $10 advance, $15 at the door
Ten homes in historic Boylan Heights will open their doors to the public to celebrate the neighborhood’s historic and artistic character as area musicians perform in homes along the tour in a nod to the neighborhood’s longstanding musical tradition. Participating homes will represent a variety of architectural styles, including Colonial Revival and Arts and Crafts as well as a restored apartment. The tour will begin on the grounds of Montfort Hall, an Italianate mansion built in 1858 and owned by William Montfort Boylan. Boylan’s heirs sold the surrounding land in 1907 which led to the development of Boylan Heights.
