Re: “Following Accusations of Rampant Misogyny and More, a Raleigh Promoter's Career Is Effectively Over. What Comes Next?

I don't think that was the main point of the article. It seems the main point was that Craig's treatment of women and local musicians is horrible. People got fed up with it. Did you read the Facebook post that spurred this entire incident? I don't think anyone is down playing race here, it just wasn't the main point of the article or the Facebook post.

I have never heard him speak negatively about people of color, but I have hear him on many occasions make disparaging remarks regarding women and local music. I'm not saying he never has, but I have never heard it. Craig is not a major player in music and most definitely not in real estate or downtown business. I know LOTS of bands that have refused to play LBLB or use his booking services long before this article came out. People have known for a long time who Craig is and the shit he pulls. Race is a sensitive and very important issue right now given what we have in the White House. We are all in this together now matter what color your skin is, no matter where you are from, no matter your sexuality and or anything else.
