Re: “Kristin Goss

Kristin, We have heard all about the Massacure at Virginia Tech, but not once has anybody Mentioned what happen with our Vice President a year or two ago when he Shot his Hunting Partner while Hunting, Why NOT? Sure, Guns will Kill, but it's not the Gun that does it! It's the person behind them. If you were to lay a gun on a table and tell it to shoot someone, will it? No, because Guns don't shoot on command, it's the people beind them. This Guy in Virginia, they say was lost between the Cracks of the Mental Health System, but that doesn't matter! If a person has it in there head to go out and Kill someone, they are going to do it, know matter what the Mental Health System says. It's so easy to put the blame on someone else, but that isn't going to solve the problem. I was reading an Article on Soldiers who were coming back from War and how they are being told that because they have PTSD, they will never Qualify to Own a Gun, that's not right either, but it's been done! I go out on the Range quite a bit and shoot, but that doesn't say that I am going to turn around and do what this Kid did. The Mental Health Authoridies and Local Law Enforcement had the chance to do something about this Kid and what did they do? Let him go! I am Sick and Tired of the Blame Game and I think it is about time someone put the Blame where it belongs and do something about it. It's not the Gun Laws that create the problem, it's the system! If Local Law Enforcement and the Mental Health System did there Job this might not of happen. Granted, you and some other people might think this is wrong, but stop and think about it before you comment on it.
