Re: “NCAA Takes on Charging, Promptly Flops

I don't mind the existing rule at all. It's real clear. If the defensive player establishes position first, and the man on O is out of control, it's charging. I don't care where it is. Of course, I don't like the shot clock much, and it took a while to get the 3pt line. The NCAA only makes rules to benefit big schools in big conferences. The shot clock: instituted after 'Nova beat Georgetown in 1985, and after Princeton almost beat Georgetown in the first round in, I think, 1988. Let me know when real basketball comes back to the colleges. Until then, there's hockey, baseball, football....

Re: “Torero's Authentic Mexican Cuisine

Having lived all over the country, including the Northeast, the dead zone for decent Tex-Mex or Calixican food, it's been fun trying out the establishments in the Triangle, especially given the substantial Hispanic community here. I grew up on Tex Mex in Anchorage, of all places (lots of Texans there!) so this is one of my favorite styles,. And Toreros is quite good. The sauces don't taste like Old El Paso, and my wife says the seafood is very good. I prefer tacos and enchiladas, and Toreros is best I have found so far. The location in Cary is also a sports bar, with outdoor seating (at a strip mall, unfortunately) and they often show Mexican soccer which is great fun. Highly recommended.
