When: April 12-28 2013

Ira David Wood III both directs and stars in this stage adaption of the powerful American classic by Harper Lee. If you've read the book or seen the incredible 1962 film starring Gregory Peck, you know the story of 6-year-old Scout Finch, her older brother Jem and their heroic, principled father, the widowed lawyer Atticus, who is appointed to the court to defend a black man accused of raping a young white woman. Wood reprises his role as Atticus after glowing reviews for his portrayal at Fort Worth's Casa Mañana Theatre in 2011. —Emma Miller
