(Three Man) Tempest

When: Dec. 5-7, Dec. 12-14 and Dec. 19-22 2013
Price: $15-25
Burning Coal veteran Randolph Curtis Rand writes, directs and stars in this adaptation of Shakespeare's classic about an exiled prince, a magic island and an ugly dude named Caliban, a rendering that reduces the elements to three men and a table. Rand, along with Triangle and New York stage veteran Adam Patterson and the one-name-only Carter, will interpret all the characters in the play, against a minimalist backdrop. What new facets of the fantasy will be revealed through this reimagining? You'll have to attend to find out. —Zack Smith
