Elia Suleiman's semi-autobiographical 2009 film explores the situation of Palestinians who remained in Israel and became known as "Israeli-Arabs." Set in four time periods ranging from 1948 to the present, Suleiman uses his family's history to as a microcosm, providing a portrait of a complex culture affected by history's upheavals. The 8 p.m. screening is free and open to the public. —Zack Smith
