The Steeldrivers, Hank Smith & Lindsey Tims

When: Fri., April 17, 9 p.m. 2015
Price: $20-$25
Nashville bluegrass hotshots The Steeldrivers have garnered three Grammy nominations: one for 2009’s “Blue Side of the Mountain” and two for 2010’s “Where Rainbows Never Die.” But Adele’s cover of their “If It Hadn’t Been For Love” for the movie Get Low earned the band crossover appeal, as she transformed the ’drivers gritty jailhouse dirge of a man in a bad situation to a proudly defiant number. The quintet of session vets boasts résumés that include tour stints with Trisha Yearwood, Reba McEntire, Patty Loveless, Alison Krauss and Dolly Parton. —Grant Britt
