The Ready Set, Outasight

When: Sat., April 20, 7 p.m. 2013
Price: $5-25

Though Jordan Witzigreuter is old enough to be a college graduate, The Ready Set's sole member sticks to teenage tendencies. Released on Pete Wentz's Decaydance Records, Witzigreuter's glitch-and-synth sprees are plenty saccharine, leveraging Auto-tuned vocals to repeat his hooks ad nauseam. Tunes such as "Give Me Your Hand (Best Song Ever)" and "Love Like Woe" seem more fitting for a high schooler's iPod than a co-headlining gig at the PackFest Spring Concert. One-hit hip-pop wonder Outasight—his "Tonight Is the Night" scored a Pepsi commercial in 2011—joins the bill. There will be free food and inflatables. —Spencer Griffith
