Program

NCM Fathom Events brings the eighth season of the Metropolitan Opera's Peabody and Emmy Award-winning series The Met: Live in HD to cinemas nationwide. The broadcast of Puccini's La Bohème will be presented live for only one day on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 12:55 PM ET / 9:55 AM PT. Puccini's moving story of young love is the most performed opera in Met history-and with good reason. Anita Hartig stars as the frail Mimì in Franco Zeffirelli's classic production, with Vittorio Grigolo as her passionate lover, Rodolfo.

Director: Stefano Ranzani and Franco Zeffirelli
Writer: Giacomo Puccini
Cast: Anita Hartig, Susanna Phillips, Vittorio Grigolo, Massimo Cavalletti, Patrick Carfizzi, Oren Gradus and Donald Maxwell
