The Infamous Stringdusters, Paper Bird

When: Sun., April 3, 8 p.m. 2016
Price: $20
Despite a shifting lineup, The Infamous Stringdusters have delivered a steady output of increasingly expansive bluegrass-minded records. The band’s new Ladies & Gentlemen features a clutch of women on vocals. Many of them, like Lee Ann Womack, Sara Watkins, and Nicki Bluhm, already share the Stringdusters’ affinity for folk music, but “Have a Little Faith” takes an intriguingly soulful turn with Joss Stone. However, of all these collaborators, only Bluhm has joined the band for this tour, so you’ll have to see how these songs translate live with key components missing. —Allison Hussey
