The Hinge Literary Center Presents Writers' Day

When: Sat., Sept. 14, 2 p.m. 2013
Price: Free
A few weeks back, we complained about a lack of a "Writer's Day." And now there is one, thus proving the power of journalism, or coincidence. Haven Kimmel, Dorianne Laux, Joseph Millar, Alan Shapiro and Daniel Wallace join a number of publishers to talk about the process of becoming an author or a poet, or whether to pursue an MFA (our advice: you can, but do learn to love the taste of ramen). —Zack Smith
