The Color Exchange, T0W3RS (acoustic), Happy Abandon

When: Sat., April 11, 9 p.m. 2015
Price: $5-$7
As The Color Exchange, Chris Petto and Justin Ellis streamline the music they made as Clockwork Kids. (Partly out of necessity: Half the band quit last year.) Based on “Sparks,” the lead track from the new quartet’s debut Cubed, three guitars are pared to one, and neo-psych jangle gives way to slick, stadium-sized pop-rock. The quartet releases Cubed tonight and promises site-specific “visual and aural surprises,” too. —Patrick Wall
