Re: “Lamenting the slide of the Bull Durham Blues Festival, (barely) happening this weekend

The Bull Durham Blues Festival was one of the most notable festivals in the country, but because of bad leadership and underhanded dealings, the funds, that keep all festival alive, were drastically compromised.

I think Angela Lee, the new director, has gone above and beyond to try and make lemonade out of the lemons she inherited. The fact that the festival STILL IS alive, makes me give MAJOR kudos to Angela and her team.

I agree with the previous comment,,, stop trying to bury this festival before it's time! I firmly believe the blues community will pull together and help rebuild this fest! I, for one, have been to every one since it's inception! I don't plan on missing one any time soon! (oh, and for the record, this article plays down Grady Champion's headliner status. Man, have you ever seen Grady? Have you ever MET Grady! I would travel to see him (and this night was a free event!). Shame on you Grant Britt!
