Re: “Raleigh

DId you know at the League of Women Voters and Wake UP forum that Russ Stephenson was the onlyone to say jobs and the economy are not their number one concern. Talk about being out of touch! You forgot to mention that in your endorsement? You were there yes?

Re: “General Assembly underhandedly passes Defense of Marriage Act

Underhandedly? Looks like it was a public vote. looks like it was a open vote open to anyone in the gallery to watch. Do you even who passed the original law. Perdue and the Democrats.

Re: “Forum tonight with the Sierra Club's endorsed candidates: McFarlane, Stephenson head the list

The declaration from the Sierra Club that man( and woman) is the only cause of climate change is extreme. Yes we are one of many reasons that things change on this earth. But we also have volcanos, solar flares, effects of our moon, and many other acts of God and nature.
And why is the the Sieera Club afraid of allowing differing points of view at these forums? Could it be Al Gore declaring that the earth is hotter than the sun just 2 miles below our surface?

Re: “(UPDATED) This is democracy? House passes anti-LGBT amendment with no hearings, ever

For one thing Bob Geary is NOT a journalist. He is a columnist due to his opinions.
Saying a bill is anti-gay marriage is a opinion not a fact. This State Constitutional Amendment if passed by the people protects traditional marriage.
Second, to compare this to Civil Rights is not only wrong, it is racists in its own right. At no time were blacks not allowed to marry other blacks after 1865. And yes it was until late 20th century before inter racial marriages were allowed in NC. And yes Democrats have been long known in the south as leading segreagtion.
And please stop generalizing by calling us bigots. I told nancy mcfarlane at a LWV event the other night that Bob Geary attended that she was just as bigoted as the other side by the definition of the word bigot. And no As a Tea Party member I am neither a terrorist nor a SOB. It is time to end the politics of hate on the left. For you will get further with honey than vinegar.

Re: “The right wing's twisted arguments against gay marriage

To be against Gay marriage is not being bigoted. Just like being for a smaller government is not racists or terroristic. There is a double standard on the left when it comes to ground rules. Just look at Obama's call for civility and then him speaking to a crowd right after Jimmy Hoffa Jr. So is Obama calling for civility or not. Saying my opinion is wrong and calling me a bigot is in itself hypocritical.
