Temples, Spires

When: Wed., Oct. 29, 8:30 p.m. 2014
Price: $16-$18
Sun Structures, the debut album from British quartet Temples, recalls the early, wide-eyed explorations of Dungen, the Swedes who wrapped their psychedelic fancies around hooks so perfect that they’d stick on first listen. These dozen songs are admittedly less warped, more plugged in to The Byrds than The Bevis Frond. They radiate through thick Krautrock rhythms and thin tape-hiss distortion like anthems, inviting you to sing where Dungen might’ve asked you to dream. —Grayson Haver Currin
