As an artist, Julia Feldman uses narrative imagery to provoke awareness and encourage change. Feldman uses the connection between art and social comment as a beginning to locate common ground and bring people together. Her work is contemplation of employing art, specifically fiber materials and found objects, to incorporate social engagement and public interaction. The topics expounded include her commitment to issues encompassing indigenous people, global politics, and sustainability.
