Re: “After Two Employees Walked Out, Durham's Guglhupf Attempts to Extricate Itself From HB 2 Backlash

Take your anger about HB2 to the Governor and the General Assembly! We have not even had a chance to breath and understand the scope of this insane and disastrous law and already people are looking to target local businesses who don't *immediately* comply with emotionally-charged demands. Claudia was only trying to comply with what she believed the law to be, and there is absolutely no evidence that she had any intentions otherwise. As others have stated, as the owner of her business, she has many other angles and factors to consider here. The employees in question, although they have every right to be outraged by the actions of the GOVERNOR and GENERAL ASSEMBLY , have no basis on which to make demands of Claudia and expect immediate compliance based only on their wishes.

Claudia is already trying to make things right and is solid ally to Durham and equal rights, so let's give her and all local business owners a chance to figure out how this law affects them before we start singling them out and labeling them as enemies.
