Stand Against HB2: North Carolina Musicians United for EqualityNC and QORDS

When: Sun., Nov. 6, 12 p.m. 2016
Price: $15-$20
As the finale of a statewide series of benefits for Equality NC and QORDS, the Carrboro edition of the Stand Against HB 2 falls two days before the election that’ll likely affect the lifespan of such legislated discrimination in North Carolina. More than twenty acts are slated to appear, drawing heavily from the area’s wealth of indie rock and alt-country with big-time acts like The dB’s, The Love Language, and Tres Chicas joined by rising stars such as Happy Abandon, Matt Phillips, and Blue Cactus. —Spencer Griffith
