Celebrate St. Patrick's Day a few days early by viewing and searching for new spring greenery and a pot of gold or two with Triangle Land Conservancy. Johnston Mill Nature Preserve is a 296 acre natural area located on the outskirts of Chapel Hill. The preserve is a green oasis that transports visitors to an earlier time when water-powered gristmills dotted New Hope Creek. This is event is free, but registration is required.
