Squirrel Nut Zippers play surprise show tonight

Squirrel Nut Zippers, the mid-'90s chart-topping Chapel Hill swing and rock band that reunited early last year, will play a surprise show tonight at Carrboro's The Station at Southern Rail. The last-minute show comes in advance of a five-date run that will take the septet as far north as Rhode Island. Tonight's free gig begins at 9 p.m. The Station at Southern Rail is located at 201 E. Main St. in Carrboro.
